Hugh Midford

Based in Henley-on-Thames I work in the music and technology industries.

Having picked the violin up at the age of four, music has formed a huge part of my life, studying at Masters level and then playing professionally in the UK and Europe for over ten years.

From the concert hall to television and film to touring shows, my professionalism and continuous strive for perfection is well suited to the demands for exceptional accuracy and attention to detail. My in-depth knowledge of the industry and true empathy for people also enables me to add real value when sourcing and managing musicians for productions and companies, such as Jeff Wayne’s War of the Worlds.

The same detailed approach and personal characteristics have also been invaluable in my role in the tech industry as a Project Manager and Product Owner at Signals Ltd. Combined with my technical coding knowledge, I provide a bridge between technical and non-technical teams to lead and support the end-to-end delivery and continued development of solutions for global organisations, such as Refinitiv, Xerox and Polaris.
